Welcome to the home of the Madison County Fair, held annually in Rexburg, Idaho, at the county fair grounds.
The 2013 Madison County Fair is going to be the best fair yet. This year is the Centennial Celebration of Madison County. Things are being planned to make the County Fair the crowned jewel of the year-long celebration.
Look around our updated site. You will find lots of information that will help you either participate in displays and competitions or enjoy the fair this year as a spectator. Bring your family to the Madison County Fair and see everything that Madison County has to offer. You'll find a lot of good things.
Madison County has a rich history in agriculture. The Fair is a celebration of all of this. Good competition in the Rodeo arena. A lot of produce and other home arts will be on display. There will also be a lot of local fine art and photographs on display. All of these will have peoples choice awards. Don't forget to cast your vote. Every vote counts.
4-H project will be on display. Check out everything from baking to fashion; pigs to steers. The kids of 4-H have been working hard on their projects. Be sure to check them out. On Saturday you'll have to opportunity to bid on the animals. Check out all the animals including the petting zoo. All inside the indoor arena.
The City of Fun is here!
With the Centennial Celebration, all of the stops have been pulled to bring Madison County the best. The City of Fun Carnival is one of the best in the country. They bring with them 22 semi-trucks of equipment and 15 huge carnival rides. Ticket prices are $1.50, with rides ranging from 2-5 tickets.
Wrist bands will be available for all day ride passes. This will save you the most money, and make your day at the fair a great time. Pre-sold wrist bands are $23, and $25 at the fair. Wrist bands are only good for one day. You can pre-purchase wrist bands for the carnival rides at Broulims, Valley Wide, and Bob's Cafe (east of Taco Bell), beginning on August 1 until noon on August 15th.
Thursday, August 15th, will be family day at the fair. As part of this, all rides will be 1 ticket, all day long. You can purchase tickets at the Fair for the following prices.
- 1 ticket for $1.50
- 10 tickets for 12.00
- 20 tickets for $20.00
- All Day Wristbands are $25.00
The Carnival will be open as follows:
- Thursday - 4:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday - 4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- Saturday - Noon to 11:30 p.m.
Hypnotic Entertainment is Back for the Entire Family
This year we will enjoy the return of hypnotist Kerry Sharp, who will be performing on the outdoor stage at the fair ground five different times. You won't want to miss his great family oriented performance. You'll love it, and go home laughing. Great times for all. Click here for the schedule.
