Welcome to the home of the Madison County Fair, held annually in Rexburg, Idaho, at the county fair grounds.
The 2012 Madison County Fair is going to be the best fair yet. We have lots of people working to bring together more events and displays, more Rodeo (including the Western States Ranch Rodeo Association, WSRRA, sanctioned rodeo on Saturday), and more food. All of the best of years past with more added to celebrate our county.
Look around our new site. You will find lots of information that will help you either participate in displays and competitions or enjoy the fair this year as a spectator. Bring your family to the Madison County Fair and see everything that Madison County has to offer. You'll find a lot of good things.
Madison County has a rich history in agriculture. The Fair is a celebration of all of this. Good competition in the Rodeo arena. A lot of produce and other home arts will be on display. There will also be a lot of local fine art and photographs on display. All of these will have peoples choice awards. Don't forget to cast your vote. Every vote counts.
4-H project will be on display. Check out everything from baking to fashion; pigs to steers. The kids of 4-H have been working hard on their projects. Be sure to check them out. On Saturday you'll have to opportunity to bid on the animals. Check out all the animals including the petting zoo. All inside the indoor arena.
The Carnival is back
This year you will be able to ride some rides, and play in the bouncy toys. Ticket prices are $1.25, with most rides being 2-5 tickets.
Wrist bands will be available for all day ride passes. This will save you the most money, and make your day at the fair a great time.
You can pre-purchase vouchers for the wrist bands at Broulims, Valley Wide, and Bob's Cafe (east of Taco Bell), beginning on August 1. For credit card orders, call David at 403-6961. There is a 5% service charge for credit card orders.
This year you will enjoy the performance of hypnotist Kerry Sharp, who will be performing at the Romance on Friday, August 17th, 2012. Get tickets at the same place as the wrist bands. You won't want to miss this family oriented performance. You'll love it, and go home laughing. Great times for all.
